An academic and former executive notable for her work in the technology and telecommunications sectors, Nina Aversano serves as an assistant professor of management and director of the M.B.A. program at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York. With decades of experience in the corporate arena, Nina Aversano served in a wide range of senior and executive roles at IBM, Xerox, AT&T, and other firms before entering the next phase of her career as an educator. A guest lecturer and member of the executive faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business from 1998 through 2007, Dr. Aversano taught M.B.A. courses in organizational behavior and leadership. During that time, she also served as a guest lecturer at Lehigh University’s Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry, an intensive continuing education program for middle managers.In 2007, Nina Aversano began a three-year term as an adjunct professor of management at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University, where she taught courses to MBA students. Today, Dr. Aversano continues her teaching activities at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, and she also serves as the director of the school’s Professional Development Academy.
